Phone number — used for account verification via OTP and as your contact identifier
Full name — displayed on your public profile
Profile photo — displayed on your public profile
Self-introduction video — optionally uploaded and displayed on your profile
Location — the district or city you are based in
Nationality — displayed on your public profile
Employment details — salary expectations, off days, skills, languages, education level, and other job-related information you choose to provide
Agency information — company name and internal code if registering as an agency representative

2. How We Use Your Information

To create and display your public profile to other users
To verify your identity via SMS OTP
To facilitate contact between helpers and employers via WhatsApp
To manage your account credits and payment transactions
To improve our service and user experience

3. Information Shared With Others

Your profile information (name, photo, location, nationality, employment details) is publicly visible to all users of HelperMatch, including guests who have not registered.

Your phone number is used to generate WhatsApp contact links but is only shared when another user taps the contact button on your profile.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com)
Twilio Verify — SMS OTP verification (twilio.com)
HitPay — payment processing (hit-pay.com)
WhatsApp — user-to-user communication (whatsapp.com)

Each of these services has their own Privacy Policy governing their use of your data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase servers. Profile photos and videos are stored in Supabase Storage. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at the email address below.

7. Children's Privacy

HelperMatch is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

Toggle your profile visibility off at any time within the app

9. Cookies and Local Storage

HelperMatch uses browser local storage to maintain your login session. No advertising cookies are used. We do not display ads.
